I know I've complained in the past about various dA aspects, so let me just say that I am so happy they finally let us change usernames. I don't even mind the subscription requirement, since I'd be willing to pay a fee if that was required.
I can't tell you how many times I've considered starting up a new account with a more reasonable name that I could actually TELL PEOPLE at conventions, but now I don't have to and I get to keep all my VERY IMPORTANT PAGEVIEWS (and somewhat important artworks).
So yes. Happy is me.
